Verba Compete analyzes your catalog and produces custom pricing recommendations, suggesting you raise prices on some books and lower prices on others. In the end, you’ll sustain your average margin, while maximizing the number of titles that are priced competitively against the online marketplace.
Go Bargain Hunting
For some books, standard wholesale costs can be significantly higher than the online marketplace price. Compete starts by identifying titles for which online sourcing makes the most sense. We then help you checkout from Half.com, organize and track packages in the Compete interface, and provide detailed purchase information for Accounts Payable. Keeping your costs down has never been easier.
Buyback with precision
Verba Compete captures and displays the online competition's buyback pricing for each book you're buying back. We've built in quick filters so you can dial in on books where you're overpriced or underpriced against the marketplace. Compete ensures your buyback pricing is both fair and competitive, so you don’t pay out more than you need to and your store remains the best option for your students.

Integration Fee
Pricing for the Verba-Booklog partnership is straightforward: your store pays a one-time fee equivalent to three months of a single Verba product subscription to activate the integration. This fee is payable to Booklog to support development and maintenance of the partnership.
Verba Pricing
As for Verba Compare and Compete, your store pays a single subscription fee, up-front, for one year of fully-hosted service. There are no implementation fees or maintenance charges; we'll never charge for rock-star support; and all updates and upgrades are rolled out free of charge. The pricing you see below is exactly what your store will pay.
